Noticed that the Leon Cupra has chrome air vent covers fitted (according to Seat web site) anyone know if these are available as an add on to other leon models? I know there is a set for LHD cars which includes the centre air vent but presumably the side ones can now be bought separately from a dealer.
Anyone have part numbers please?

Just phone your dealer and tell them what you want and they will order it for you. They look carp though.

Anyone got photos so I can see how carp they look?

I assume they are the same ones that come in the full kit for LHD cars

the kit comes in lhd only the two side vents and the glovebox cover and the switch covers are all ok but you cant use the middle one there are pictures on this forum somewhere and imo they look far better than the cheap plastic surrounds that are standard

According to the Seat uk website, both the FR and Cupra (2008 Model year) have Chrome air vents.

ive just seen the page i think your refering to, and it does indeed list the fr & cupra as having them, but my my08 dont have them.

and frankly i'm quite pleased about it. less is more in the bling department in my opinion. having said that i was parked next to a 57 plate TT today that had them and they looked ok.

Yes it is strange, I emailed a query to Ted Johnsons about these and they could find no reference to them from Seat or part numbers etc. (Don't know if they actually looked at a MY08 FR/Cupra in the showroom of course)

As regards the 'bling' I tend to agree to an extent, I would need to see some fitted before buying them myself , but I do find the Fascia a bit bland as standard.

Hi Stocky,

Yes that is it except for the centre air vent which will only fit a LHD car, I have now been told by another UK dealer that the chrome trims for the round vents at each end of the dash now appear on the Seat EKTA parts listings and cost £23.50 inc vat. There still seems to be some confusion about the centre air vent trim but I am not certain that I really want that as I think it may look a bit overdone.

i fitted chrome outer vents & they look fantastic i advise you to get the plastic seat tool to lever the dash back while you unclip the original vent

the glovebox is stick on the air vents have to be fitted ,and a bit of a nightmare they are too.i wouldnt think you can buy them seperately but i could be wrong
