oh my god that looks even worse in real life than pictures tell are seat apealling to blind people or what why would you buy it, black wheels usually look good not on this yuk yuk yuk yuk ! chris

A lot of people say that about the Aero Kit.....

In the metal

As we all keep saying, it down to opinion. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, good job really or I'd never have got my leg over!!!!!

I take it you came into our showroom and saw it? You should have introduced yourself and I'd have sorted you out one of our loyalty cards, make sure you do next time as a member of SCN you'll get discounts on servicing, parts bodyshop etc.

I have been in your showroom / service department loads of times and mentioned SCN... I have never seen a loyalty card  and with the amount of stuff i want doing to my car ;)

I don't think your guys in service like me much anyway at the moment! i think i have turned into one of them annoying customers

lol!

Thanks

Chris

We have only just introduced the loyalty card system, give me a bell or see me next time you're in and I'll sort it, likewise, if you ever have any probs with the service guys please tell me, I need to know. It was good to see you the other Saturday, what did your dad think of the Altea?

Alright Gary, I was in last week and didn't check the showroom, I am now super curious about this colour. Will pop in and have a proper nosey when I pick up my black grille that is on order :)

Cheers! My dad really likes the Altea, but i think he will be looking at an XL. The only pain is trying to get him to make his mind up as he is also looking at the Touran (ewww! - but its wining him on price - how odd!) Could be more than one sale as my other half quite fancies an Ibiza too :D
(they are finally coming round to my way of thinking!)

Will drop you a PM in a bit about other things!

Cheers!

Chris

Bringing this thread back to the top :D

I popped in yesterday morning to see it and it looks bloody gorgeous! Especially with black wheels. Honestly, no pics can do that colour justice, its brilliant. You have to see it in the flesh to appreciate the insanity but absolute gorgeous colour.

But opinions are definitely divided on it!

I thought it was brilliant, Watchin FC who was there as well agreed but CrazyHazy (who was also there) said it wasn't his thing.

Me? I am tempted to get an order in for a DSG FR TFSI anyway and have it in that colour!

Deffo agree with S8N - as Gary said, the colour looks much stronger in the metal. The black wheels on it really look the business too.

I reckon that after a couple of these hit the roads and get spotted, it could be the next big thing.

Word of warning though, just popping in for a nosey could seriously damage your wallet :D

Had an armrest fitted while I was in yesterday. Now thinking of side skirts and maybe a spoiler.

Was good to meet up with S8N and the chaps in the showroom too. Sorry I missed Crazy Hazy - could have got an update on his remap.

Seen one of these last night. Looked great under the street lights.

I think it could become quite popular. It really stands out.[B)]

The love or hate this colour is decided I feel pretty much on 'do you want to stand out & be noticed, or do you enjoy being discrete' I bet the colour does ook great, but it probably going to attracr every hav in his nova or 20 year old rs turbo to try & have a go! I personally wouldnt like to try & hide it in a car park. Would be worried sick it would either not be there or be vandalised when I got back. Its a real shame though in this day & age other peoples actions decide what you pick.

I can imagine returning to the car after shopping and finding spray painted "you should have got inferi black" on the side of the car.

I always worried about this when I had my MK3 Ovni Ibiza Cupra. Just short of four and a half years of ownership and I never had a problem thankfully.

Having seen this colour in the flesh on a FR in WJ KING SEAT I have to say that it really is a eye grabber. Looks great.

Far nicer in the metal than you'd imagine, the colour really does pop - I'd love to see one with the Aero kit, lowered over anthracite 19s...
