Hi

Just bought a 54 reg yellow ibiza FR.

I've noticed the alloys are a little bit 'yellow' in some of the corners. Other than that they are in perfect condition. Has anyone else experience this? What can I use to remove it?

Can I use normal wheel cleaner (wonder wheels / autogylm etc) on the FR wheels as they seem to have a different finish to most alloys?

Thanks

As Orca says, using an acidic based wheeel cleaner is not necessarily the right approach. the 'yellowing' you refer to is just brake dust and general crap build up.

Try using a fairly strong paint cleaner first, like Megs DC1, if this doesn't work then step uo to megs scratch X. This will work and just needs to be used correctly.

With both products, do not let them dry, applied, buff, remove.

Once you have then clean, apply a wax, selant or polish to them to prevent rather than cure;)

Any Q's, shout!
