The chrome surround may improve the front end. I painted my surround the same colour as my wheels.

Looks loads better mate, you must be fair chuffed with it now? It's a completely different car than what it originally started out like anyways. 
Car situ with me at the moment is still have the Passat and going to hang onto it for a bit longer, my contract is due to expire in June so what happens with that is what'll decide what I do with the car.
I've kept my reg though, I want a MK2 Leon FR but will need to wait and see.

Scott- nothing happened lol. I was busy so couldn't go to get it done. I'll get round to it some time.
It was a sunny day today so i went a little drive to largs - was a really good drive and i had fun with no clutch slip + my car was really clean so i took some new pics, although they are not the best pics.

Mine is still a bit high even though I just installed the coilovers. They told me they'll go lower by a centimetre or so by themselves in the next few weeks so I should wait before lowering it more.
Have you thought of colour coding the sides? Or do you like them in black so they contrast with the rest of the car?

?I agree with Scott, colour coded and with the Cupra mirrors will look fantastic.
You should probably colour code the LCR splitter too.
Not sure if i would colour code the splittler. You think cupra mirrors would look better than colour coding?
i did gloss black on my 1.2... looked surprisingly good imho... made the car look cleaner... but if i was to do it again i think i would colour code
