a little off topic but i want to polish my inlet manifold.... did you attempt this yourself rob or have it done for you???
Exactly what I did, I checked the Haynes (VW Golf MK4) manual later and it also says you have to cut it (crappy imho).
I couldnt complete the job, the original exhaust clamp right after the cat held me back. I will buy a grinder today, will save me a lot of time!
Im well impressed by the quality, damn! End pipe is straight through and the welding is spot on.

hi guys.... went to attempt to vid the car today but a major trauma has come up... i hit a rock following a stupid bus and have cracked my sump and ripped the anti roll bar off!!!
this wont be sorted until monday which will hopefully just be a replacement of the sump and oil and nothing else major wrong!!!

I love my new angle grinder! Old exhaust clamp removed, new Cobra exhaust fitted finally, I love the sound. No cabin drone whatsoever, and from the outside its very very nice. Shot this video fast, will be making more soon!

Update on my exhaust.. Went to C&C today and Cameron said they will remove the pipe from the backbox to tailpipe and reposition with a new pipe. I looked at other styles of tailpipe but decided to stay with the 6x4" oval.
This should move the tailpipe back flush with the bumper also move it up and centred to the cut out.
Getting this done on Wednesday, will post some pics when done.

Mine also doesnt sit 100% properly, sits a bit low and sticks a bit out. But I think that will be fixed with new mounting rubbers

Interesting mate, it must be as lee said the jig is probably set up for the LCR.
Do you have any pics of how your tailpipe sits in the cut out?
