If mine gets louder I will be replacing the back box with something bigger as I am starting to notice if you are on full throttle above (say 80 - 90) it is very bassy & boomy... Technical terms..lol

Will report back when I replace the tailpipe.

2.5", resonated, 6x4" oval with no baffles.

It was okay for the first week, although after about 300miles or so it has become very bassy when on full to mid throttle, roundabout the 80-90+ mark.

Doing my nut in to be honest...:(

Maybe it will sort its self out again after tomorrows change of tailpipe, I don't know. I doubt it will make a huge difference.

Update on mine - tip stayed shiney for about a day it now looks like its been on a year or two lol. Definatley got louder quite loud on idle, not too bad if you don't use many revs but on full chat it sounds awesome especially when its warmed up. Saying that though I have a decat fitted. And the sound in tunnels or under bridges is fookin awesome.

It's not loud really, just a constant bassy note at the above range on full throttle, if I ease of to half throttle it is quiet and no bassy note.

So yeah I think it will get a bit deeper.

I'm maybe just getting too old for the bassy drone at high speeds.... Lol

Hmmm the 2 dreaded things I never wanted. The discolouration and even worse the 'horrible' bass drone :-(

Glad someone wrote a bad experience as I'm still on the fence with this. It's very important (to me) that you can have a convo whilst at motorway speeds, and cos its resonated too...what the hell will non res be like? Shux

I know bret... Don't get me wrong it's not that loud that you can't talk it's just bassy at full throttle at higher speeds.

Although this morning it wasn't that bad... It's really weird, anyway getting the tailpipe changed as we speak.

So I will post tonight after I drive home to let you know what it's like.

Ah so rob-73 you are running a decat?

Phew, not interested in a decat, so a full system at 90+ (on my private runway) shouldn't get too annoying then

Im also running stock downpipe + cat, but will be replacing it with 3" downpipe with sportscat. My GF is quite picky with exhaust sound and she doesnt mind this system. No problem having a conversation in the car (my Renault Megane Coupe 1.6e 8v was louder (supersprint header, Elia sportmuffler)). The Seat is also better isolated is my guess.

Sorry for no video as of yet as some know a new sump has been needed but all is well again and am going to attempt a video again today!
I have been unlucky and that the tip got coated in oil and is slightly stained but a coat of autosol or something will hopefully sort it out!
Going to the bad review yes the exhaust has a very deep bassy burble and on full boost sounds unbelievable.. I have only had good comments of the sound and how meaty the car sounds...
And no annoying interest from the boys in blue......
Hopefully the weather will stay decent to get a good video sorted....

Lol coppers have never bothered me, but having say, your gf parents, clients, or anyone else remotely 'important' or impress~worthy in your car whilst doing motorway speeds and hearing a low frequency Thrummmm is not appealing...but obviously the barbaric rasp and thunder when it's just me, however. IS slightly appealing lol
