Fancying getting a new induction kit, anyone who has one set up can you post some pics to show me how youve set up the cold air feed to it please. Wondering the best/sexiest/cheapest way

I haven't actually got an uprated cold-air feed to my open cone filter. I'm just making use of the standard snorkel that went to the original airbox. I guess yu could make the most of this and maybe fit some larger ducting? There is a mod where you can remove the "flap" inside the bit that is attached to the front of the car to allow more air in.

1.2, guessing im gona need some silicon hosing too so it doesnt just sit vertical on my engine yeah?

The 1.2 has LOADS of room in the engine bay, I expect you could run one from the lower grill or foglight.

90% of the people on here who have cone filters or do these sorts of mods have 1.8T's or 1.9TDI's (FR CUPRA) problem is in those engines there is no room to run a cold air intake so most haven't bothered.

Just seen a quality looking induction kit by forge at the GTI international show.

Carbon canister running a large diameter hose which follows the original induction root and fixing to the front of car as intended by mr SEAT!

Kris is that the set up that was on the 1.9tdi cupra at inters next to the tech's boc?

as i am really intrested in that set up.

But answering your question i would have thought running a section from the fog lamp would work well, there are those circular connectors that you can use (think it is on the pipercross cold air feed pipe) that will connect onto a lower grill or replace a lower fog light position.

sorry kris wasnt refering to the forge unit running from the fog light, was meaning a general cold air feed for the thread question.
