Yeah your probably right and for what it's worth I wouldnt bother. I can live without auto wipers haha

If you get a decent glass treatment (not rain-x) you'll hardly use your wipers and as a bonus your wipers will last a lot longer !

I have the Technology pack and convenience pack added on my Ibiza FR. Mind they were standard when I bought the car, straight from dealership. The car was there on the forecourt waiting to be sold.

There's things I would love to have like, bi xenon headlights and the seat sound system. But these are extras, unless you buy the car from factory order and not straight from dealership. Unless you get very lucky and the dealership has one waiting. It does mean waiting for your exact spec car (16 weeks minimum) to arrive.

I'm the kind to do my homework though, admittedly if you don't know about the car model you end up wishing you had extras from the order spec sheet. Some extras can add hundreds or thousands of pounds onto the cars cost.

On the topic of people, when looking for used cars, looking for the most loaded cars, I bought a used Audi S4 about 4 years ago, and at that time finding one in any of the colours I'd prefer and with a manual box was VERY hard, so I settled on a very new with really low mileage and basically "poverty level" as far as factory fitted options are concerned, and I'm happy with that! On the Audi B8 S4 forum, most potential buyer claim to put "sports diff" and "super sport seats" well above general condition, age or mileage - which does seem a bit strange to me.

On the subject of different levels of Central Electrics controllers, the aim, on the Polo site, seems to be to get hold of a T5 or the Amorak controller as they have a lot more I/P and O/P ports so lots more options can be fitted.
