I know this is an old thread, I just did mine tested it, the windows went down fine but stopped half way up and now my remote locking won't work, any ideas anyone?

Just type in vds pro into google, don't forget you need the serial vagcom cable and not the usb one.

Yes mate you use the ob port.

You have to have the laptop running in windows 7 but you have to right click vagcom and run it as a administrator

Yep looks that same as the 2nd one i posted up. Ive got a vag tacho cable but not a vag-com Ordered now thanks very much.

Yeah i know My tacho cable says tacho on it and its black not blue like the vag-com one so its all good

You need a serial vagcom cable to do the remote windows though, vds pro runs in dos so usb is out of the question.

Right ive been trying to do this using that motordiag program and i havent no luck so far. Its been doing my head in for hours now changing settings, etc..... i just cant get it to do it. I think if the errors come up in english it would be ok lol. Heres a few screen shots, anyone know whats going on? And yes ive checked everything, making sure its on com port 2, ran vag-com and that was perfect just this motordiag keeps giving me an error of somekind.

I can't get it to work cans figure out the read eeprom part but the code in and it doesnt seem to do anything?
