Coolant Light????

Hi all have a LCR 2003 210 version, Coolant light flashes on every now and then open the bonnet all the coolant has gone from the expansion tank, turn the car off wait ten minutes or so for the colling system and the level is all the way to max again.
Only happens every now and then had it check by Seat no leaks or air locks new cap on the expansion tank, Any ideas please i'm stuck and so are Seat

Air lock, no way can it just come back unless imho.

sounds strange, might be worth draining then refilling and bleeding the system. Does the thermostat open - the hose from it should get very hot once it does

Hi thanks for your responces, yeah Seat have bled the system filled it back up tested for air locks, leaks everything they say there stumped,

As i said only happens every now and then could go 2 -3 weeks without it happening then it will just happen turn the car off wait ten minutes alls fine again,

The water can't just go "somewhere" then come back though.
