couple of pics of my mk2

looks very nice mate. ive got a black ibiza and want a similar looking raer end to the one you have. what have you done with it around the badge area. are the lights tinted or black lexus, have you sprayed the black plastic trim bridging the lights? and have you tinted the seat ibiza part between the lights. lovin it.

also howd you get the vent in the wing?

can i just have your car? :)
 
their are a few body shops around the leeds area but dont know any that do i'm sure their is.
yeah the paint would have to come off around that area a hole cut and then welded back up then painted again

are the side skirts just sprayed/painted, or from that 'bumper website'?
love the side-vent. like the single wiper conversion. wheels really suit the tints / car.
interior looks great.
 
I know a bodyshop in mansfield who may be able to do it. They've cut saxo into a wing before and it looks spot on.

Wing would have to come off for definite. But I am sure any half decent bodyshop who work with modified cars can do it.
 
ive got the weld in vent from venom,its a bit of a pain to fit i spent a good day getting it right i must of put 20 skims of filler on it!,there arnt any ripples in it but im gunna have to do it again b'cos its starting to show,im gunna try them cool louvres to see if they can punch the same vent in for me

cheers buddy,the door handles are out of a 5 door polo,they are the rear ones so there is no locks in them ive just smoothed the line out of them,and painted them.the side skirts can be smoothed and painted using high fill primer but make sure you put plastic primer on them first,an easyer way is to get some mk3 cupra ones,they are the same looking,but havnt got the texture in them like the mk2. ;)

the lights on the back are black lexus and the bit in the middle is a reflector as its a cuprasport 16v,ive just tinted some lacker with black base coat and sprayed the whole thing.to be honest i took a chance with it b'cos i didnt think the lettering underneath would be visable but it came out quite good ;)

you also mentioned that you had some problems with your FK angel eyes.... i'm guess that is a cupra... so is the headlight assembaly differant to a 95 mod?? i am thinking of getting a set of these.... and also... are the headlights themselves black like the indicators??

cheers mate,if your car is a 93-96 model then the fk lights will fit ok but they are too small for the 97 on facelift models.the angel eyes come with matching indicators
 
You gotta see this car in the flesh he's done a real good job on it, specially when you know he's done it himself :worship:

I seen this car at different stages and I'm well impressed wiv the outcome, there's only a few Mk2 Ibiza around our area I can think of two more other than ours and this really does stand out... subtle but stealth at the same time.

where can i get that bodykit from? and a quick question, would the front and back bars off a 97 cordoba fit on my 95 ibiza?
 
very nice apart from as previously mentioned the mirrors, rear lights and front repeaters. Apart from that really like it :)
