Happy 21st Crezz.

Im the first one to say it! :p. I was 21 back in July and I have to say, it isn't much different tbh.

Going to keep an eye on this thead mate. If I can get a garage from the local council I'm tempted to get alittle project of my own. It isnt that bad tbh, yes it needs work but thats all part of the fun. When I saw the reg-plate I thought it would be alot worse. Least getting the coilovers for your birthday is one less thing to buy!!

ok cheers flapper, think i may of found a company that has pattern wings.. most stocks are exhausted but they fink they might have a few..not as good as quality as oem stuff but ill jig it about abit... this is going to be a tough old project.

mork.. dont suppose you still have that abf motor do you?

bummer... i bet youd tell me you basicaly gave it away to! lol

dont suppose anyone knows of an abf or a tdi going cheap?

easy to find... but if I were you I'd get all the welding sorted - that'll take the time - then decide which way you're going

nearly suggested mine as it's the best thing in it :) having cut mine up a bit it's gonna last another 12mnths or more yet though

not had it dipped/stripped and blasted yet then ?

naah, not really any work done on it except some of the welding... im waiting on getting it in the shed so i can start stripping and finding out how serious the tin worm is.. im unsure how far to take this project.. would love to get it bead blasted but worried it will rip so much of it away! lol

get stuck in mate - will all be good in the end knowing you

just checking out the detailing on your beeza says it will a dandy one

'man made it so man can fix it' and the parts are always there somewhere - they just take longer to find sometimes that's all

thats the best thing anyone has said flapper! cheers pal.... i sold the old mazda today so ive got cash in my pocket for once! yeah baby

i sold the old mazda today so ive got cash in my pocket for once! yeah baby

try and keep it there and for heaven's sake don't count it as it goes out - or the receipts coming in

it's easier to forget what's missing and why :headhurt:

and don't forget the parts bus rule either

enlighten me on the rule please?.

thought you had already experienced the parts bus rule in the dash wanted thread ;) :

you hunt high 'n' low for the rarest of parts at the right money only to lose patience and bung a few extra quid than you planned to spend to grab what seems to be the only one ever left on this planet.

only to tell a mate of your travels far and wide and how you paid a bit too much but worth it to get what you wanted only to have him say 'damn dude i got 2 of them in the shed you could have had for nowt'

parts are just like buses, you can't find one when you need one but get 2 come along at once when you don't
