jeeez thats got my mind on other things now rather than the caddy! haha good find!
didnt have a great day really today....started the rear panel where the numberplate sits...uncovered a fair amount of rot, cut majority of iyt out, got 4 patches left to weld in but have no access to a welder now once this panel is done, i can etch prime and high build primer it and then its time for a final coat of primer then the shiney stuff........BUT seeing as i didnt have access to the welder i decided i wasnt quite happy with the door or the swage line through the door and got a bit happy, now have to redo them.... argh! haha
yes that is true flapper, its just irratatng when i cant crack on with the work...im also thinking about making a rear roll pan....any ideas how to make one? sheet metal bent atound a scaffold pole? lol
too true - can get my hands on a decent home made swage liner if you need anything ribbing into it but to be honest it's easier on a flat 'throw away' panel
oh right ideal, thats good to know mate... i just wish the caddy was like downstairs instead of like 10miles away. just want to spend every spare minute on it
before i post this up i'll explain, oil cloth is fabric lined shiny lino style sort od material you would use flat over a dinner table etc, saw this dinnertime and nosed in there and thought could make some interesting Custom Tonneau covers
make a tonneau cover frame to sit on top then and either tilt hinge it up from the front or one side or bungee it down inside to some well placed bolt in tow eyes ?
if you end up with a fixed wood floor you could sink em into that
