I spoke to them before I got Ross to do mine and they couldn't do it for some reason...

i don't see why not... might need a replacement 'controller' ? i'm not the techie but there's a box in the drivers footwell thats a midway controller between the ECU and the steering stalks etc, and the newer models for some reason come with a less capable version than the older ones.
my dad had to swap the part from my brother's 02 plate 1.2s to get cruise working in my mams 08 plate 1.2 reference sport because the controller in hers wasnt as good as the one in my brothers.
i bet its possible to fit to your TDI FR.
Yes it is possible, but only if you want to pay £300 for that controller, which most people dont. Also the stalks arent the same as the Fabia ones, the combined stalk is unique to the Ibiza and Polo, this is also why you have to make the wiring loom up as it doesnt have the same connection on it as the other VAG stalks so cant be bought off the shelf.
I can understand why JKM wouldnt do it for £149, at the price I charge by the time I have bought the stalks, wire for the loom, connectors and plugs I dont make a great deal and i've not got much in the way of overheads unlike them.

Got another booked in tomorrow. Busy making looms tonight and it loks like i've got the bottom of the stalk supply issue. A supersession on the part had been buggered up by the factory so it looped back to the previous part which is now discontinued which meant if you ordered one it just stayed on the system and did nothing. Still got one now
