might be worth checking your engine cover to see these problems don't apply to your car - Cupra badge on right of cover is separate piece of plastic and is stuck to the cover with just a few small strips of doublesided tape, took almost no effort to remove from my cover, would make a mess of pulleys/belts if it fell off in use. also, sharp edge to top of cover marks tube at top right when refitting so I removed some plastic to get better clearance, could cause problems if tube is damaged in the future. see what you think:confused:

Think Mardon posted his badge wandered off somewhere.

My cover mountings have been modded a little to clear the Forge spacer so it now sits a bit higher and clears everything.

The cupra badge from the top of my engine has been missing since the first time I looked, suspect it was missing before I picked the car up, and I didn't notice.

I just have a sad little bit of double sided tape instead. :(

I plan to get Seat to sort it out at the first service.

mine too - feels like its made from cardboard

anyone know where to get a new engine cover - for example a decent carbon version. 1.4tsi is common now but google gave me nothing...
