Cupra Exhaust wonky.

Hi Guys,

Been a while since I was last here. Just brought a 2nd hand Cupra on a 53 plate. The twin pipes are not straight (slightly slanting down left to right). The warranty runs out in December so I have booked it on for tomorrow for this to be looked at. I have had Cupra's in the past and one of them had the same issue and that was fixed FOC. Is this a warranty issue? I'm worried they might say that it's something I've done.
I'm sure that this has been a problem for many. Am I right?

the zorst on the leon is prone to corroding on the middle bracket, it could well be that. mine was wonkey, and when we got under to have a look, we found my bracket was broken.

you can get the bracket rewelded or you can get a new zorst.

sure is mate if you have a cupra with straight pipes then your the lucky one lol,they should sort it FOC as its a common problem from what i've seen

Mine's been like it from the moment I drove it off the forecourt - over 3 years ago. Still hasn't fallen off...

mine's got a slight twist to it but nothin that really catches the eye and as its gettin replaced with a BF sometime soon it'll do for the time being

Yeah, it did. But then, 99.9% of the time I'm in close proximity to the car, I'm looking out through the windscreen. out of sight out of mind and all that.

yeah, agreed, but its that 0.1% which really annoyed me! still its fixed now, so i dont have to worry

Hello Motty, I'm new on here too. Replaced my zorst with a 5 inch Magnex as they couldn't seem to fix the angle under warranty. Sounds really nice, like a spitfire taking off!
