Cupra leon boot wont open

Went to my leon this morning and the boot wouldnt open! Dunno if it was cause of the frost or nout.

But does anyone have a clue what it could be???

Plus How can it open now?? lol

Plenty of threads on this, but the first thing to try...

Hold the handle fully open with one hand.
Smack the other hand down on it hard.

Now try opening the boot..........
