oh dear - look on the bright side mate, at least it isn't like a chavved out Vauxhall Disastra boy racer with 17" wheels which make the brake discs look like 10 pence coins ... and don't even get me started on the rear drums.... especially when people paint them like bright red .... :wtf::banghead2

And dont forget the fake drilled disc's :lol:
 
i also have noticed this while looking for brake upgrades that alot of manufacturers state that 288mm on the cupra. however i thought mine were 312mm....?
 
330's are even better, cost dependant though
312's lack overall diameter and would probably be noticeably too small for the calipers
 
By the way,

At least in Portugal, Cupra R came with 17", 312mm front and 256 vented at rear (same front and rear brakes in 4x4 PD150 diesel)
18" wheels and Brembo 323mm at front, was an optional.
