Cupra R rear to Cupra rear

Does the cupra rear bumper fit the Cupra R??

I saw one this morning and they dont have the grey bit in the middle yet they look the same style/shape.

What do you think?

it will fit but you will need new guides, and a new exhaust as the cut out is in a different place. the cupra bumper is more rounded than the lcr one.
why not get yours smoothed and painted? thats what i was going to do if i got an LCR one but decided to go for the MY03 Cupra one instead

Has anyone worked out how much difference there is in the exhaust? I'd prefer an 03 bumper on the back over the LCR one as it's more rounded.

From memory its about 60mm difference (about the size of the zorst across)
I personally wouldn’t as i like the sharp aggressive look of the stock bumper and the contrast of the diffuser. I would suggest getting a spare centre section and spraying it but the last time I asked you couldn’t get them on there own anymore (they were only £30 ish I think) I was after a DTM race style version (with slats) but smooooooooth would look cool too.

Saw Copra's LC-come-LCR on Sunday - the first Bronze/Copper LC with full facelift kit I've ever seen Was nice.

I liked the LCR front with 03 rear on my cupra, without the splitter on the LCR front it looks much more rounded.

60mm difference is a lot though so I guess that idea is out.

It wouldnt be too hard to sort out if your smoothing it as you only need to chop slide and smooth (ok its a bit more than that as the curves) but should be a walk in the park for you pete

True I could do it, but it'd be nice to be able to just buy one and slap it on. Not sure I can be bothered with chopping one up and rebuilding it etc.

Well you could get a custom pipe out the back to go with the new bumper. Or what would be far better. Chop the standard pipes off and put two TDI stlye pipes on facing down and smoothing the hole over. IMHO i think no pipes look far better than a big one sticking out

Yeah that's why I put the polished engine bits up for sale, to get the cash for the panels I need for the cordy

What’s the mani off as mine is a pre face lift TT and has two bolts missing fro the altitude sensor! So need to swap it
