Cupra R smoke coming from exhaust

Its normal for these cars. But mine smoked more when i first got it and didn't know what grade oil was in it probably 10w-40 or something?? changed oil when i serviced it to the correct 5w-30 grade and it didn't smoke as much and still doesn't. a very noticeable change!

Maybe check you have the correct grade oil in it?

its just been serviced by seat using the good oil 5w-30 , i believe its the backbox thats in terrible condition going to get it checked friday anyway at seat, still sure its water stuck in my rotten backbox

does anyone else notice what i could only describe as 'snowflakes' on their back windscreen when it's smoking like this? I'm sure you will know what I mean if you have them!!

update

had it checked over today at seat, result came back all clear, no need to worry nothing wrong with it, they recommend i change the backbox at some point as needs doing but other than that its fine, perfectly normal, best bit is they didn't charge me anything

yep better be safe than sorry, like i said only just bought in dec, going to be spending quite a bit on it this year to get it how i want it, so deffo best to check it out first
