The refrigerated glove box is just a air con feed at the top of the glove box that pumps in cool air.

So its normal that the LED is on the wrong door now? Is it the same for the Polo and any other VAG cars I wonder

Hi Dan thanks - I'd checked and there appeared to be no vent, or in fact any dial/latch etc to open/close a vent either. I'll double check later but I couldn't see anything at all in there.

Not noticed a cold glovebox tbh haha il have a look for a vent later and I know my led is on passengers side :s just means I can see it when parked on my drive way te right way haha Cars got its first big stone chip and it's a big un paint looks stupidly thin on these bumpers
