Good news, at least your found something thats quite easy to fix.

Many people chase boost leaks for months.

I've never heard of a smoke leak detector, any chance of embellishing on what you actually did?

Its a Nice Little bit of kit..you take ur maf off and put a rubber bung inside then tighten it up with a jublie clip then attach the silent air line which then pumps smoke presurized in to the full vac system..
If there is any leaks,Splits jublie clips not tighten enough it will leak smoke and hiss..

Sounds good

Well took mine for a drive and its still blowing smoke...So either turbo has gone or something else..

FFs...

can't Belive a Smoke Test would do this to my car...But it only does it when the car get really hot...Does do it on overrun or on normal driving just wen i create boost

You saying the smoke test has done this to your car??

its basically a pump and smoke unit, that pressurises under 1 bar and has smoke to it, then you can see where it is passing out,.

we use it quite often to find leaks, the worst one i ever had was when i had a golf 1.8t that would not hold boost, took the lambda out and ot was coming through there, hence seals gone.

hope you find whats causing it, i thought the smoke was just from the tester as mine smoked like that when i had pressure tested it., there was a bit of oil round that pipe remebr underneath so maybe its that

It aint no were near as bad as that jake just has a very slight tince to it...can't see it that much but can defo smell it...

Sort all your boosts leak out first danny rather than just worrying straight away. It could be the leak thats causing it

Right done some searching and this is what i found..

Valve oil seals:- smoke when cold or been left standing, will clear when reving
Piston Rings:- Smoke constantly
Turbo:- smoke under acceleration

it only does it when you give it hard acceleration doesnt do it on engine braking and when its cold it does do it either..

Im gonna check the FMIC pipes tomorrow and do a compression test too..

Dont sound too good mate. i would say sounds like rings or a breather pipe is blocked up causing excessive crankcase pressure and forcing the pressure pasted the rings. giving blow by.

maybe a breather was blocked up and with having the smoke test done its moved it and blocked a pipe up a bit more.

keep checking pipes mate you will find it and sort it im sure :D

im more than certain it aint the rings..if i go out and drive it dosnt smoke not even a slight bit get it hot and it doesnt eirther Plus letting it sit on idle it doesnt smoke too..

But reach peak boost and you get some blue smoke out the back then will blow blue smoke for a few mins on idle then it will go away...Plus its got quicker too..

it could be a blocked pipe, then there was alot of gunk round one lot of pipes, theres no way a smoke test can cause any damage, we have done it on loads of cars the achine is over 2yrs old lol . cant understand it, so it must of just pushec some **** about.
