Where did you get your wax, clay etc from? Did you use a machine buffer or go old elbow greese?

Got all the stuff of ebay mate but Autocraze in LH sell it but at double the cost lol...O and was alot of elbow Cruise

Ma5on I got the bra from Autobra.com Was £71 all in ...

John Boy yeah coming to the end of the list just wanting to tidy it up now with the money i get...Then stage 2 it in the coming months..

My Stuff for the paint work has finally Arrived and also the tyres for the wheels..

So gotta start stripping it all down too ready for it to be Detailed...

as Some of you may now my LCR was Smoking blue smoke over the last few weeks anyway it stopped but i then got a missfire on Cylinder 2 so i changed the coilpack and the miss firer was still there..

Then when i came to stop i could hear a blaten Loud Tapping noise when i rev it Seems it gets louder and quicker with the RPM,,

Spoke to john seems i could have a knackered Exhaust valve...

Got post a video of it up in a minute...bad times

what a bummer . If the heads comming off its a good time to replace the timing belt etc and uprate the rods and actuator then happy days again.

Ive Been Told of Loads of people that the Oil Pump or Pick up could be blocked Hence the Oil not getting to the lifters?

happened to a mate of mine that, said he was getting a misfire, we went out for a drive felt like a coilpack, scanned it, no faults gets a call couple days later, engine seized, because of a blocked pick up pipe,

i changed my pick up pipe the other day, thankfully mine was super clean, but for a £12 part, it can do a hell of alot of damage

yea we got cars in all the time with over 80 k on the clock with blocked pick up pipes it aint a bad job to do sump off and then change the part

SO what should i do john?

I aint gonna drive it till its sorted so Drain oil & sump off and check the pick up pipe?

If needs be il replace the Pump while im down there..Were John will xxx

yeah you can also use the oil as a semi flush if you run the car warm then drop the oil, just need to make sure you dont burn yourself, then new pipe and liquid gasket on the sump.
