Awesome work mate, looking mint. Paintwork looked horrendous but ace now. Mine is going in for a stg3 machine polish on Sunday! Can't wait :D

Also is it me or has anyone else noticed but but since Danny has had the LCR, his ADHD likeness to the way he use to post has calmed down a a lot. Must be the more mature 5 door car having the right effect ;)
 
it luks good danny, thats the good service i pervide :) luking forward to when ive finished it. it looks better whenyou see it though. even thou the pics do look good
 
Thanks everyone..

We just need todo front bumper,roof,spoiler and bonnet which is a massive job tbh as its ****ed lol.while we had the night off i thought id get on with finishing the engine cover but once i had painted it the paint ran...How im not sure but i think it might have been a slight mist from some where..

so need to paint it again which il do 2morro lol...looks nice and smooth but the paint is a mess lol from close up..

Was clearing out the shed tonight to bin all my old ibiza parts and i came arcross loads of Silicone and Joiners,with mandrell bends...

So with the shed half done i thought id try somthing on the car to see if it worked....Well it has best thing was,it is free didnt cost me a penny todo the relocation kit and upgrade the tb hose to 63mm which was free..

The detailing sounds like a lot of hard work - mine's got dusty and loads of tar / grit / whatever stuck in it - would it work the same on mine?

How did you get the shiny finish exactly? Did you use clay bars or any electric polishers or was it all elbow grease? I've looked at the pics, doing a great job mate.

I Used Menzerna Power Polish Kit from Elite Car care & Elite Orange 150mm Compound pad & 150mm white Refining pad..This Is done with a DA or Rotory and Very Carefull timing on application...Anyone can do it tbh just needs to do it slowly....Have a look on Detailingworld mate and you will get a good understanding off it..

Well done mate...What stuff did you use? Did you refine it afterwards? How did the scratch come out?
