I'm having a weird one here with the dash board being illuminated when the car is off. Anyone had this before?
If I open the car and put the key in the ignition and turn it a to position 1 or 2 and back off again and remove key it all goes off as it should but then the dash ights come back on again a few seconds later.
Googling it I found somewhere someone suggested the earth's under the battery so I had all that out and cleaned it all and today but no change. I took the plunge and started to dismantle the steering column thinking I'd have a poke about at the back of the ignition barrel, but found I'd need to remove the steering wheel to get access so didn't fancy messing with the airbag if I didn't absolutely have to, so put it all back together (having a good poke about and wiggle of all the relays and plugs under there while I was there but no change).
I don't drive it much so could it be moisture somewhere?..
The battery is a bit tired so it's draining it. Not totally sure of the drain as could be other systems kicking in but it seems to settle on about 0.7 amp draw when 'off'.
