Meh. No love for Calibras and I'd know if it was a xv490 :D

If I see it again, I'm going to force it off the road and subject him to 20 questions :D Stay posted :p

Nah. Silver wheels, 100%. Their design, I'm not too sure about. Could of been something similar to OZ Titans. Certainly not black. They were a flat face 5-6 spoke wheel with large spokes.

Just wish I knew what it was.. it's given me a new found level of respect for Vauxhall.. although, standard, no doubt this car would of sucked bum. Story of Vauxhalls life, really.. Lotus fiddle with their cars and THEN they're good. Nevermind, hot car with mental performance. S'all good.

Hi dave. Claire is an ex of mine, we dated for a little while. Small world.

Nah, never worked out what that Vectra was all about. Very nice car, though.

It was a C20LET. There are a few about not and for the amount some of us pay for insurance they can source the engine and get in excess of 250bhp. Still like you say, I had a V6 SRI for about 3 years with over 200bhp and my LCR is a different story. LCR has better handling, same top speed and gets there alot quicker.

Same old thing with vauxhalls. This story was all about a straight road....No bends or corners in sight. Still if you are in to drag racing then knock yourself out with a Vectra!

sounds to me like its either a 'redtop' engine turbo conversion (same as that found in the cav gsi turbo 4x4 or the calibra turbo 4x4, courtney can do some powerfull engines based on this unit 300 - 350bhp +,

or it could be the newer astra/vectra engines, which are a turbo as standard, but agian if its been to courtney, it will be a fast motor.

also if he is a good driver in way of not redlining it in every gear and timing his gear change, that would also improve the build up of speed.

still though Seat vs Chav.........
