Just checked my 08 Cupra and the windscreen is doing the same thing. L C Charles are replacing mine under warranty with no arguments, just a quick look and that was all.

Having mine replaced under warranty in a couple of weeks. Dealers just took a quick look and said yes, no problems.

Mine's getting replaced shortly too. Dealer agreed straight away that it was faulty, Seat got them to clean the screen with some chemical which had no effect. Dealer got back onto Seat and they have agreed to replace the screen. Just waiting for it all to be sorted now.

My leon is out of warranty, but when at my dealer last week for something else, i mentioned the windscreen to him and he said that they would do nothing. Obviously thats what i expected them to say, but i thought i should ask.

i've tried to find this topic on the leon mk2 forum but couldn't(theres plenty on the altea forum though!)so i'm sorry if this has already been discussed.i have a 56 plate fr tdi and its already on its THIRD windscreen due to the fact that they keep delaminating and at present i am driving a 58 plate leon mk2 tdi courtesy car on which the windscreen is already quite badly delaminating.i also took a look at a brand new one in my local dealerships showroom and that was just showing the first signs of delaminating! if your not sure what to look for it starts as a very thin white line at the bottom of the windscreen and slowly works its way up the screen and it is caused by water getting between the layers of glass.my dealership have never even questioned me about this,as soon as i've mentioned delamination it was booked in and done,which makes me wonder if this is a design fault?and if so what happens when the warranty runs out?!!shouldn't this be a recall item?

I've just noticed my winsscreen seems to be delaminating as descrided in this thread.

My warranty runs out the end of this month so need to get something done about it quickly. The paint on all 4 of my alloys is also badly marked & I see some people have had theirs replaced under warranty.

I live in Herts & just wondered if anyone has had to have either of these problems fixed under warranty & which dealer they used? My nearest one is Letchworth but not very helpful so far.

Any comments appreciated as running out of time to get sorted!

mine runs the length of the windscreen pretty much and is almost 2cm high in some places. Will def be getting this sorted.

From what I read here most dealers are sorting the problem?
Anyone advise on a North West Dealer?
