Didnt Get round to fitting the spacers or the splitter but possilby monday :)

Hey Claire,

Was this a very straight forward install?

I see you used the Halfrods special Jackstand kit (Which is exactly what ill be using!)

How long did it take and did you have to cut anything out to have it nicely showing though bumper?

Was the front bumper too much of a pain to remove?

Ill be looking at buying/fitting one after xmas (Persuading it as a pressie)!

Ill have to get a pic of my car up soon - its the Arctic grey as yours is - i lovvvvvvvvvvvvve it!

alrite claire ive just replaced my split-r with the awsome 007p with yellow spring like yours do you get the tsssshh noise lol as i still do :confused:
 
What a crap month!!!

My car has been off road due to having a burst radiator its took me ages to get a radiator due to courier problems.

Finally got radiator today, Nice brand new radiator fitted and all hoses cleaned out & booked in to get timing belt & water pump kit fitted.

Lcr splitter is fitted too, Looks good

is it just me or is the intercooler in the fitting pics different to the ones when its on:confused: looks bigger and flipped the opposite way??

them pics are from ebay site. liked how it sits now than the way they done it :)


There will be more updates this month a further £600 spent on mods :)

Also spent just under £600 on:

timing belt, water pump pulley

new heater matrix

new radiator & labour

I think it looks far better the way you have it to be honest. I just spent a fortune on parts for mine but hoping its worth it :p need a couple tyres n a service when i get paid then hopefully down pipe or front mount for my bday goin to sell stuff i have lyin about to fund more
 
End of the month iv decided to buying

* coilovers

* New hids

* turbo intake pipe

* new mesh for bumper to protect intercooler

* front & rear discs and pads

* serivce

* jetex filter & silicone

maybe a few bits n bobs, remove silencer and paint rocker cover

Flippin heck you've been well busy. Looks good though. Don't suppose you fancy comin north and cleanin and paintin my mingin Cordy tdi lol? I've got to wait on some decent weather in a few months time, meanwhile I have to sit back and watch the rust eat my arch and wings. I like the paint job on the inner handles too, nice idea. I don't know what that gunk is that's on them as standard but it looks crap when it starts comin off. I've mostly just been keepin on top of the mechanicals and I'm gettin some springs next week but still don't know which make to go for. Wietec, interalloy, panther, cobra, Lesjofors, kw. I might just have to do a lucky dip to choose lol.:)
