Noooo, dont be doing it!

OEM+1 for the win!!!

Thats where im headed. Standard trim bits look so cool and understated.

Nice, clean and tidy...

Much more better :)

i will need to replace the front bumper with a new one, took it off today and the clips to hold it onto the wing are broke. plus its got a massive crack from where it bolts under grill to under the number plate. rear one wants respraying as theres a big scuff in it and its pourly painted. need to get new bottom grill - missing, side skirts are screwed on! may be able to use touch up paint to blend the screw heads in.

fixed headlight and indicator today, front grill wants replacing as one side isnt attatched to the car in any way at all.

im ditching the central locking system and putting in solenoids instead and maybe flushing boot lock since i dont have key for it.

i agree dont put a bodykit on a beeza not too sure about colour coding as the car looks quit deep from the side so needs something to break up the depth ie the black bits you should sort the bodywork re spray lower it but dont put stupid sized wheels on it. If you do wanna put a kit on it dont look in max power look at what the motor sport boys do probably only the F2 kit really.
Hmmm how about the F2 kit and the 4wd system from a mk2 golf syncro and make a proper rally rep

if i keep the standard bumpers, shud i fit a new bottom grill as its missing?

dont be silly, get to scrappies and buy one, £2 i payed for one, can of platic primer, £3-4 and a can of paint from halfords £7... spray yourself...jobs a goodn

halfords dont have kiwi yellow or owt close to it. nearest thing ive found is a can of green from motorworld at 9 quid a can.

i can only use spray cans cos i havent got a compressor at home or anywhere to put one. the motorworld can seems very close to the right colour but i dont know if its any good.

no halfords mix up paint in an aresol for you, just give them the paint code and it will be mixed up ready to use from can

;) i might of actually fibbed about the price thinking of it...£7 is ready mixed on shelf , £11 is mixed for you there...ie unique colours....the cans have a funny looking top...they spray awesomey....like a fan

Halfords do mix it up, I have to ask for my colour aswell. The have the L90D Alpine White (VW) on the shelf, but not the L90E shade which is the Seat shade. The paint is very good quality and excellent to paint with.

ive seen a spray gun adapter for cans from halfords, has anybody tried it out?

i wont bother buying that then. is the paint they mix for you semi-pre-laquered like hycote paints?

ive found a brand new front grill thats primed on ebay for 25 inc shipping. i think last time i bought one for me old car it cost a fiver, which ironically came off a kiwi yellow ibiza but i had to spray it red.
