Does the Leon Cupra have S3 Injectors?

Hi all,
I'm hearing different stories about the LC Injectors.

Some say we do have the S3 injectors and some say we don't.
Plenty guys who upgraded to the K04 Turbo on their Gti's, also install the S3 Injectors.

Do we have the same injectors as the Gti or the 8P S3?

I believe the injectors are the same as those in an S3 8P.

they are the same engine evrything is the same as i have seen all the engine part numbers for them all and they are the same and thats from vw racing who deal with the engines all day long.

if they had to upgrade to k04 yes the needed new injectors you already have a k04 so yes you should have s3 injectors

IIRC the audi engine is slightly stronger

According to the latest ETKA, the latest Cupra injectors are the same as S3 (06F 906 036 F)

You got the part number for the lastest PCV Valve & Gasket and OEM Dump Valve by any chance mate?

They have different part numbers though Chris. Not sure that anyone has stripped them down to see the differences yet.

BorgWarner only make 1 k04.

not sure if any manufacturers bolt anything extra on, but the basic turbos are the same.

Erm no not at all mate. The k04 turbo for the 2.0T engine is Twinscroll, let alone fairly bigger than the k04 on the 1.8T engines.

K04 is just the basic model, there are different numbers like k04-023 and k04-025 etc

It says on the plate on the side of the turbo.

sorry, i should have been more specific. i meant for the 2.0 tfsi (tsi, call it what you will) engine.

S3 and Cupra latest models - eng. codes CDL and BWJ - are fitted with the same turbo charger and exhaust manifold (06F 145 702 C)
