Does anyone have any pictures of the dog bone mount, or can tell me where it is. My car is clunking and after checking everything else, its all thats left so I need to have a look at it at the weekend.

And yes if you get under the car and remove the plastic guard, you will see the gearbox. It is the mount that connects the gearbox to the chassis.

CHeers. I am planning on replacing the bush. Would it be worthwhile buying a new mount, then putting the new bush in it?
I think if you buy from seat then its a mount with the bushes already pressed in. So you just replace the whole thing, should take no more than 5mins to replace.
I bought a dog bone mount earlier this year for £20.60+VAT from Ted Johnson
Pt No 6Q0199851AT I have a Cupra tdi so I think it could be cupra tdi or tdi specific
Replacement is simple, jack car up, put on stands and remove under tray. Remove the 4 bolts (I think) to take the mount off, throw it at the nearest chav. Put new mount in place, replace bolts and undertray, remove stands. Done in 30 mins max

For the price of it, you might as well. Whilst I was replacing this I noticed an intercooler pipe section connecting to the turbo had been rubbing on another hose and was worn through so it might be worth checking hoses when you are underneath

I'm planning on fitting the Super pro bush to mine, but since its so cheap, I think I'll get a new one anyway, then fit the bush to that :-D
I have one of those, fair bit of vibrations when pulling away, but gearchanges are alot smoother. I bought it 2nd hand off someone who found it unbearable on their diesel, certainly wouldn't pay full price for one when theres cheaper options as mentioned already.
