If you have a euro car parts close by, they are a powerflex seller & keep a lot in stock at the warehouse as well! Working there I'm gonna have to see how it will be with my discount :D

This is a awesome site, but you fellas are not on my bank mangers christmas card list.

I thought superpro were a cheap equivalent to powerflex, obviously not
I'd like to try them though as they get good reviews. One product they make of interest is an insert to fill the voids in the small stock bush on the dbm so if you don't fancy the hastle of drilling the small bush out simply install this insert for an easy upgrade inconjunction with the two part bush at the subframe end.

Afraid my money will go on the VF engineering one, should be much firmer purely down to smaller bushes which are also poly
Have powerflex in currently with negligible vibration so i can take a bit more if necessary

look at the price of them:wtf::ban::-o and the powerflex are half the price:D:happy:

Not tried the powerflex one, but superpro worth the extra imo. Hardly any vibration, no wheel hop, better traction. I also run the insert in the dbm. :D just make sure you torque em up to factory setting and no more.

Better than the ths mount on my tdi. Just my opinion

i have got powerflex and its awesome the extra vibrations are hardly noticeable all i get is a very slight vibration through the steering wheel in tick over and i dont even notice that now only noticed it for a bit after fitting the bush

Ive got mine ready to do!:) Ive got the diesel set as this i have been told from a top mechanic these are slightly softer mount with less discomfort :funk: keep you posted!

I got the ECS dogbone mount, no discomfort for me - there is a bit more vibrations but it's at about 1100rpm. Only time I feel it is when the car is started from cold and it idles about 1200 for a bit, then drops through 1100 down to about 760. Apart from that just when moving off from a stop, but I just give it a little more revs now so it doesn't drop to 1100.

Makes a nice difference to throttle response, power delivery feels a bit more direct and exhaust note a little more sporty. I haven't had my car mapped yet so reckon i'll see a bigger difference when I do.

I have been looking for a dog bone mount but I keep finding two different types!
One is round and the other is in two parts that are oblong in shape.
Which one goes where?

Cheers

I'm not sure if LC and LCR are the same. I think they are.
From what I can find on the web you do need both parts as one end of the dog bone is round and the other is rectangular

Sounds like you've found the bushes for the dogbone mount. There are two, one is oblong and the other is round. These can be used to replace the bushes in your existing dogbone mount, or you can buy a whole new dogbone with the bushes already in it (ECS do one, as do THS).

I'm fairly sure the LC and LCR dogbone mounts are the same.

Fitted a red powerflex rear and front powerflex one to mine

Basically zero vibes from it

With a petrol id go yellow powerflex rear

The standard mount may be seized on though!
Was a mission to get mine off
