yeah i was and still and contemplating it. Depending on where it was near. I'd probably get a taxi to the closest town or city centre, while i was waiting :p

Its in Chesterfield which is about an hour and a half away from Manchester. I think the exhaust bit takes about an hour and the map a bit less than that so it might be worth just taking a book or a PSP with you and waiting.

Sorry boys i meant nxt friday (18th) i wish it was yesterday!!! I've been speaking quite frequently with CC HQ and the guy said straight up there is a big difference between a remap and a dpf delete remap, apparantly the car will give a K1 a good run for its money, so they say :D

Yeh lol, CC did say with me mapping in the optional green cotton panel filter for easier breathing, it should be up on the higher end bout 230+bhp, theyve seen between 220-240bhp and with additional panel filter its the higher end of that scale so they say, i'll just be happy getting 50mpg and having plenty oomph, i was worried a bit about the clutch but with no clutch issues reported and the fact the torque wont be up much on my already 320ftlbs should be fine, apparantly they say it drives more like a petrol car as max bhp is at 4.5k and in standard maps for the pd170 they need to keep max bhp down below 4 so as to try not to effect the DPF. I will tell you how it goes on friday, i'm booked in for 9am Bothwell, and will get the car back at 2pm. £840 including green cotton panel filter. WIll be good:)

All i can say is OMG!!!!!!

Got the car dpf deleted today and i dont know what to say.......... after having the angel map on at over 200 bhp and now this, it's unbelievable!!!! So different to drive, no traction with the wet slippy roads 1st 2nd or 3rd even high revs in 3rd!!!!!. 4th,5th and 6th..... i cannot see much touching this.. it is phenominal. Scary to drive. I have not opened her up fully but it's amazing great rotty roar off the exhaust as well. And no more flat spot!!!!!!! But one trouble has occured.... After stopping off at my friends house for 20mins then starting her back up the engine managment light is on. No adverse effects. But i'm wondering how to get rid of it any ideas dpf delete guys? Cheers. AMAZING!!!!!!:)

Lol no i wouldnt say that!! Plenty cars a lot faster im sure, but for a diesel car it is phenominal, it seems to rev more like a petrol lol power band seems wider

Sounds good carnt wait to pick up mine on 30th

From 90-110bhp to 170bhp is a big jump

But after DPF is gone then im sure i will be very smiley

MMMMmmmmm...not the first time people have reported dash lights on after the DPF delete
This is definately making me think twice about having it done. As this is part of the reason to get it done, avoiding issues that is. The other being the gain in power

Yeh ive just read that. What's the fix? The car has no problems although it does smell weird lol. Mixture of new exhaust and straight through diesel lol. I have a friend with vagcom if he cleared it will it come back?
