Is it inside the door? Not the jacking point is it?

Thread hijack - I seem to have a rattle on a certain road/surface at various speeds - coming from the rear, sounds like it's AROUND the nearside rear passenger seatbelt... that kind of location/height, but obviously I can't pinpoint it as I only get it when driving at (for argument's sake) 50+ and it's not really the best plan to drive whilst looking backwards into the car :)

Any idea what it could be? It's not the seatbelt, I don't think... sounds like some kind of trim, but around that area.

try to use co-driver seatbelt... i have that problem... when it's in use, everything was ok, the red plastic where you put and open seatbelt was the problem.

Hi jonouk it sounds like its (as you sit in the car) the back of the door ie where the latch is, though the noise might be travelling its like the noise an old high mileage car would make when you open the door of an old car though mine does it when the door is closed so dunno iam confused!!

Update.... i may have found it! the window runner seems to have movement laterally (from side to side, towards door skin and back.) am goona foam it up with something and see if it sorts it, does sound same tone and pitch as the rattle, and does take wee bit of force so could explain the awareness of it over 50mph or there-abouts.
