drivers stubby mirror

was at local SEAT garage last night and was going to order new drivers mirror. Unfortunately they said they couldnt get them as tried before and took about 4 goes to get the right part.

where else could i get one?
does it have to be seat or would the likes of VW maybe be able to get me one?

yeah ahev read that, am willining to just pay the full whack to get genuine part, but the problem is local SEAT dealer wont order part for me

anyone no if the parts no.s ins the sticky thread are the correct ones for the small mirror

Go to another dealer or tell him to stop being a tw@t and order it!

Heres the part numbers from my invoice:

6K1857508H01C - HOUSING - (MAIN UNIT)
6N1857522C - MIRROR GLASS
3B1857538BGRU - MIRROR CAP

Give him those and see what he can come up with.

Not had a problem with mine, took a couple of days to get used to after having the blindspot mirror on the big one.

Biggest time you notice it is coming down a slip road onto a motorway i find.

what price was it if you dont mind me asking.

The main part was £88 the mirror was about £25 so was the cap but that would need spraying on top

Think it worked out around £150 for the swap using genuine SEAT parts but sold my big mirror for £80 so didn't work out to bad.

i paid 120 all together, good mod.

yep there the right part numbers, mine took 1 day for the glass and casing and 5 for the mechanism
