hi guys just got a bailey dv26.
I am trying to fit it on my car but the standard dv has 3 pipes going into it while the bailey only has 2.
do i need to block one pipe off?

so are the majority of people in this thread looking at a dv for sound more than performance, I mean with an open you will need a decent air feed and obviously the more it's protected from heat soak the better, therefore to optimize performance surely you need to be looking at a jabba kit, BMC etc rather than a bog standard piperx or KnN without a proper feed. Personally if you want a cone filter i'd say you should spend the extra money or get a panel filter and a 007

It does come with full Forge warranty.....is it a problem that the vacum nipple is on the side rather than on the top?

I don't have the car here at the min so cannot chech but I was pretty sure the vacum pipe had a right angle on it to allow it to be fitted to the top of a valve?

I'm assuming you've got a petrol Mk1 1.8 20VT (Cupra, Cupra R etc)

Back of the engine on right hand side under the engine cover you already have a dump valve - a black plastic one - fitting a new one is unclip original, take out, fit new one same as old one - you'll need new jubilee clips as the originals are one time use clips, but no blanking etc. needed.

Can anyone tell me what size jubilee clips are needed to replace the original one use clips?
Cheers

Sorry guys Going to ask the same questions that has prob been asked a million times. But glade I seen this post cause guys at performance sports just told me I could fit any dumbvalve on the car to get the effect I wanted.

I just want a little sound or little whistle when I change up gears from the turbo ???

What do I need to get this ?

The engine already has a cone filter fitted but still feels like it is missing that little some thing soundwise ??
