Yea 1000kg = 1 (metric) tonne. My car is 1177kg, the diesel Cupra is the heaviest at 1215kg.
My figures are from the Seat brochure and Parkers. Parkers also says 135 lb/ft torque for the S40 2.0 CD. Sorry, just looking at figures and noticed![]()
Why would you choose a Volvo as your first car?
Fair enough it might be quick for a 17 year old but I'd laugh at my mate if he bought one... sorry.
1.2 Corsa/Fiesta/Yaris/etc for me at 17 any day...
I need a proper car. Not a heap of **** like those small hatchbakcs tbh mate. Been there, had them, driven a few others. Got into Bigger and more powerful cars.
Thaught "What a load of crap they were" I do plenty of motorway driving too.
I dont have a Corsa, I had one for 2 years then sold it and now have a Fabia vRS - remapped, RARB, coilovers, 312mm brakes.
Goes like stink.
1997, P reg! Full spec model.
Edit: 1997, S40 2.0i 16v CD Sport pack.
my old mans is a 2000 2.0 SE. Its a nice relaxing drive, good for comfort and good build quality, but I dont think it inspires confidence at speed!
Well now it wouldn't would it!
Unless it was a Sport Turbo model.
All I need is a comfrtable long distance barge with enough poke when required.![]()
