Anyone put some of these on their Leon yet? Info here.

They look like they're a fine improvement over the original, which I already thought was bloody good. Looks like they've reduced the rolling resistance which means fuel consumption won't suffer as much as well, apart from the right foot.

Best price delivered at the moment is roughly £125 a corner with Blackcircles (with quidco). Camskill don't have stock and mytyres are charging nearly £140 even with saveaholic discount...

Mine won't be going on for a week or two, -1 this morning so winters will stay on for a bit longer damn it - understeer city when pushing on round the twisties.

I was reading some reviews last week. It's supposedly better than the previous one, but still not dual compound, which makes great difference.

Anyhow, I've got two in my garage to go on next weekend, will post back comparison when they're on.

I have Contisport 5P and I would say they are are small inprovement in dry grip on the Asymmetric 1, though the initial feel on turn-in is odd on the Conti's as they are so spherical on the shoulder design you do not get the same initial 'feel' as you start to lean on the shoulders...its very smooth, perhaps too much, it's doesn't feel much different to straight ahead (apart from lots of 'G' of course!)

I just couldn't justify the 888s as my summer tyres, also don't like the idea of having to be too careful on flooded B roads in a wet June...

No that's the 'old' version. Still excellent tyres though.

Mine aren't on the car yet - one of my BBS CKs had more damage than appeared from a pothole so had to order a new one and then get it painted in the correct colour

I've currently got the 'old' F1 on the BBS up front and at the back my rear winter wheels with Barum Bravuris 2 on. Comedy oversteer on tight bends as the front grips but the back end has no chance, and that's in the dry

they're going on the car tomorrow but if someone wants to get them I suggest now as Camskill have them for the price of the old ones and it is way cheaper than anywhere else... At least £15 cheaper than next best price....
