Emissions Light

I have taken my Carbonio CAI off (selling the car) and refitted the original airbox. Everything was hunky doory for a few days (although alot quieter and slower) but now the emissions light has come on?
Any suggestions why. The car isn't due a service till decemeber so don't really want to fork out loads of money on it before selling.

could be maf sensor, have you got vag com? if not do you know anyone who could check it out for ya

Havn't got Vag-Com. Is it gonna be a case of taking it to the stealership for a diagnosis. There doesn't appear to be anything wrong - but no one will buy the car at a good pice with a warning light on.

would be surprised if the warning light came on for no reason, shame ther is no one in your area that could vag com it for you, maybe put a help thread on the vag com section, dealer would charge you 50 quid + just to put it on there machine, hope you get it sorted fella
