We removed the drive shaft when doing mine well ScottMk4's bro did its best i put new top mounts and top mount bearings on helps alot as you dont need to bother with the spring compressor and in all fairness she was crying out for a drop

One thing i'm not too sure about, on the rear setup there are no grub screws to lock the collar on the thread. I dunno if the weight of the rear end alone will be enought to stop them unscrewing over time.
Plan was to drill and tap 2 4mm holes to take grub screws that would hold it fast.
Unless this setup is meant to be like this?

Slight issue now with getting the splitter on!
Adjusted em up about 25mm as arch scrubbage was an issue. Still very low though!
Rear spacers on at the same time.
Need to get an appointment with the dentist now as im sure some fillings are gonna get dislodged!

cars looking great mate, why u rinning 2 different sets of rear lights tho? black aftermarket versions on outside and sportriders on the inside.....dont like that look atall tbh, maybe due to reverse light? each to there own but looks stupid imo.

the two sportriders had condensation in them so they got binned and he took my old aftermarket ones to pass the mot, then tinted them to make them look the same as the sportriders were in the bin just a temp measure i think![[B)]](/forums/styles/seatcupra/oldforumsmileys/shades.gif "Cool [B)]")

Much less crashy and smoother, although much firmer. Standard cupra springs are made from concrete i think after getting AP's!
Old suspension was goosed anyway, went to remove the strut from topmount and then SUDDENLY BALL BEARINGS EVERYWHERE! Ended up replacing both top bearings, and bearing housings. Not bad though, only ten notes per bearing from Morrisons in Stirling.
Much less crashy and smoother, although much firmer. Standard cupra springs are made from concrete i think after getting AP's!
