Finally got the car for £8500, 1 previous owner with 19k on the clock. Picked the car up on the 12/10 and have loved every minute of owning it.

Fast but also economical when you need to be which is a bonus for the mileage i do.

Got some fancy photos done from a mate off SeatCupra.Net which i think look pretty good :)

Update :!

Today whilst cleaning the engine bay i looked at the air intake and removed for closer inspection. Once removed i noticed a large plastic flap that was restricting the amount of air it could take in so i butchered it and my god i'll let the pictures speak for themselves.

(i had already cut into it and thought i'd do a comparison photo)

After i had removed the plastic flap you can see the difference:!

Go and have a look for an old Readers ride thread by a member called AD LAV

he used to have a Red MK4 it looked the "mutts nutts"

If i was you i would add Coilovers to that list

I cant make the car any lower due to the works car park, standard mondeos and focus's sills get caught out if they dont come in at the right angle. I cant imagine a lowered Ibiza being very good at this lol

Cars looking good.

Air ride could solve that. Press a button, up it goes, into the car park, slammed.

Yeah was nice to have a good talk to someone :). Did you get your boost gauge fitted?

done it tonight it was a right tw4t lol dont have a 12v socket anymore but the gauge seems to be spot on just need to hide the wires better when i get a chance , worst bit was not having much play in the 2 wires .

Yeah its a right pain! I found a route from the gear stick area that went below the steering column and through to the fuse box.

I need to reconnect my 12v socket back up soon'ish though!

At the moment i'm deciding wether or not to keep the PD FR and change it for a 20vT FR but will have to see the difference in insurance.

Fitted one of those little sun visors that goes by the rear view mirrow.

If i keep the PR FR i will be changing the suspension to coilies but can we get adjustable top mounts?
