engine cover

Hi people does anyone know where i can buy a new engine cover for my cupra mine has a crack in it, spoke to seat and they charge £72 without the seat sport badge what a rip off. ive looked for ages including ebay for a secondhand one but nothing, dont even mind a aftermarket but cant find

The dealers is your only option mate. And the one without the Seat Sport badge on is the FR one..

as Damoegan said, the one without the SEAT SPORT is the FR one...and don't think it will fit over the Cupra engine properly as the layout is a tad different

orite thanks for that guys. It was another £70 for the seat sport badge dunno y they have to make it so god damm expensive!!!!

You found out the same was as I did - that the dealer wants nearly £140 for a new engine cover! Insane huh?

I was very fortunate thanks to a few people on here to find one secondhand at half the price - still a lot of money for a bit of plastic and metal held together with double sided tape!

FR cover is the same as the Cupra one but without the Seat Sport bit on so fits the same.
