Engine Management Light

Hello peeps,

The above light came on and wondered if anybody knows what it could be. Car seems ok, going to book it into dealers as still under warranty. I have been using it for small trips is this ok. Is there anywhere waht gives you a fault code to pin point the problem.

You will need VAGCOM or similar software to find out the faultcode. This is what the dealers will do when they look at it.

could be something simple like a brake pedal switch, that triggered the light on my car and is quite common fault but check with your dealer the engine man light covers a variety of things.
