epc light on cupras

pulled away from the house and the epc light came on and the car just cut out. started after a few turns but flashes now and again. checked the manual says its a accerator pedal fault. any one else had just problem?

Yeah i have, came down to a dirty connection onthe clutch pedal switch.

mine does that to when im accelarating sometimes up hills or on boast. i'll have to check out all the connections on the pedals

car wont start now, epc light and engine management light flashing like mad.
wont fire up

You need to hook it up to vag com to see whats up.

put the car on a diagnosic machine this morning. 20 faults is the ecu!!!
when the car does run it runs perfect, cant be a coil can it? the car just got remapped 2 weeks ago. never had any bother with it upto now.

What were the fault codes?

dont know the codes, but it was mainly electrical faults, throttle sensor, air flow meter, injector 1 was down, ( but it runs perfect when it does).
