Oh goood :)

I'll check out how much the valance and splitter are when I head round to Wiltshire's next...currently trying to get my headlights replaced under warranty because of misting up and condensation inside of them (I've been told, this is because the previous owner used a powerwasher on the car....) Looks quite :censored: at the moment.... >.<

It's a prefacelift FR Back bumper skirt your after mate.

Yes - I realised that - thanks

Unfortunately my local Seat dealer are as much use as a chocolate fireguard when it comes to parts.

Unless they have a chassis number or registration number to go off they can't seem to find anything.

That's why I was looking for a part number.

Thats a load of rubbish! The dealer that i take my car to power wash all of their cars including mine when it went in for some warranty work. I got told if you keep a log (take a new photo every day) over a week or so and the condensation has not disapeared, they will replace them.

Also, check that the access covers to both the sidelights and headlights are fitted correctly or fitted at all, as it turned out my condensation was from a missing cover on the sidelight

Alright, so I'm gunna call up Wiltshire's tomorrow, in order to chase them up on the headlights situation (they took pictures of it to gain permission from Seat, around 3 weeks ago >.<) so I'll buy the LCR splitter and rear valance at the same time (is it a definite fit??)

I'll just need to find a nice exhaust to go with it.... because er, here's what my current exhaust looks like.....do I really need it cut/welded???

Ahh great news :D

Do you happen to have the link to the one you bought, just for reference. Or is it a very standard item?

I just checked on ebay, but am getting adapters? Is that correct?

Thanks :D

Rear valance is definate fit that's the one I got for mine.

Don't necessarily need to cut anything. For my cupra one I just got a step down pipe off eBay. No cutting or welding required :D

Hes wanting to put an exhaust tip on, not change the whole backbox.

So yes, you will either have to cut the pipe until its straight enough for the tip to sit correctly or weld the tip on.

If you were changing the complete back box you would need the reducer that mazzerati was talking about. To fit an exhaust tip you dont use one of them, its normally only a screw that tightens it onto your original exhaust pipe.

Think if you put the tip on it as it is just now.. your new tip would be facing the ground as its basically an extension of the old one. Hence, you need to make it straight first, either by cutting it or welding it.

Is it your practical car test tomorrow or something else?
Good luck! :)

Hah well, the drive went perfectly, manoeuvres were great and only got a couple of minors. But when asked to pull over I apparently indicated before a junction (even though I was already next to it >.<) and pulled over after it..... Not a serious offence in my eyes, but hey.....fate....
