Do you think it would make much difference to the trade in value having a 63 plate over a 14 plate in three years time?

Mine is in transit so 4 weeks at the max I think.

Judging by estimates I've looked at on line could be anything around the £500/£600 mark.
With the delear taken probably another week to receive and prep the car, a further 3 to 4 week wait for the new reg doesn't seem that long.

I've now received my car - I actually picked it up on the 16th Jan but I've been too busy to post a pic.

My order date was 18th Nov.

Strangely the alloys have more of a gloss look than I expected and look much better in the flesh than in the photo where they look matt.

The uprated Seat sound system is superb - I'm very pleased with it and overall the car is far better than any previous Seat I've owned. The build quality and ride are far and away from what I'd had before. :)

The paint is Nevada white and it definitely has a blue tint and shine to it - its a cold white. Today I'm parked at work next to a white Mazda. That same Mazda was almost the exact shade of white as my Bocanegra. With the Leon next to it there is a massive difference in colour.

Looks great. Much like my own. :)

I like how the Titanium wheels look, the silver alloy has an almost satin finish, and the titanium grey inner spokes are much more glossy.

Here's a close up I took of one of my front wheels.

@Zboyd

I like the wheels also. Much easier to clean than I expected as well which is always a bonus! I'd only ever seen them on a black car before ordering and they didn't stand out so great, on the white they look more defined.

Very nice wheels, my car is in sheerness and should be ready in the next couple of weeks. Will probably get the 63 plate as the amount of miles I do i doubt the difference in plate will make much of a difference in price in three years.

my order was placed on 18.01 (FR 2.0 184 fully loaded minus leather, ACC and lane assist - not a fan of technology driving my car instead of me)

is it normal not to receive a build week for the car 11 days after the order ? I am becoming anxious about this, someone configured a similar car (minus the navi and DCC) a day before me and got the build week (8) after 3 days... it's true that his order was sent at a dealer in another country, but I assume everyone interacts with SEAT SPAIN in the same way.

when placing the order the estimation of delivery was 15.03. the only delay (+1) displayed in the system was for DSG, but it was not the case.

I can only hope they were right with that date

i placed my order on the 16th Jan and haven't got a build week either, though the dealer said delivery would be roughly 12-14 weeks

I got a build week about a month after ordering. My car should be delivered by Friday this week, does anyone know how quickly I could get the SEAT garage to turn it around ready for my collection?

I suppose it would depend how busy the garage will be with normal servicing work and how many new cars they need to PDI. As a rough guide my Dealer took delivery of my car on Thurs evening, I signed finance papers Fri afternoon about 4pm and was told I could collect vehicle on Mon at 4pm (as they need 24 hrs for the finance to go through) as it was too dark to see the car at that time I asked to pick the car up at 9am on Tuesday. So the car was turned around in 2 working days for me, hope it helps :)

That does thanks, so it's basically 24 hours for the finance and how quickly I can get the garage to PDI it. I may have to be really nice to get it PDI'd early and maybe do the finance paperwork over email to speed things up.

Yep good idea that should work, fingers crossed. Or if you have the luxury of the garage being close to you perhaps see if you can go in and sign the finance papers anytime now, as your car is being delivered Fri your finance docs might even be ready now? My salesperson notified me that finance docs were ready to be signed on the Tues and I elected to pop down on the Fri to sign.

I was fortunate as I'm close to my dealer, I pass it everyday to work ;)

Ah that's a brilliant idea, didn't know they could do that, I will speak to them tomorrow. I live in Colchester and my dealer is in Ipswich which is a 30 min drive and I'm really busy so hopefully email will save an hours return journey.

Great Pic, I saw these for the first time in the dark last night and under street lights they look superb, really reflect the light (look like they are diamond cut) - bright sunlight has the same effect, a definate for the MK3 IMO.:D
