F2 Spoiler fitting?

Just a quick question really:

How does the F2 spoiler mount to the boot, is it bonded to the glass or screwed to the boot.

This is not a thread about how good/bad the spoiler is you can save that for another thread. I just would like to know how it is mounted.

so would you say a screw each side for the top of the mounts and then the bottom of the mounts bonded to the glass?

the picture doesn't show the after market one matey.the after market one sits on the boot lid,mine was bonded on and screwed up through the boot,took it off after a year or more as it was getting loose,emptied the water out of it(bizarre!!!) and re-fitted it,pretty solid with the right stuff on it

just fitted one, screws to the hatch either side of the window. If you've got a gti hatch, you'll need grommets for the holes where the original bolts through the glass

nope its not goin on a gti so wont need to plug the holes for the old spoiler
