sorry just seen this, the ebay seller has some priced at £4.99 + £2.99 postage and then the above link for £3.49 + £2.99 postage, these appear the same i.e. thread size so I take it these are the same aerial?

not making much of a saving if more people were to buy one
(not worth the hassle), sales tactics from the ebay seller, both aerials have the 5mm threads.

will buy one I thinks, get the OE aerial off which I take just screws off.
(no anti theft?)

no it will be antitheft, unscrew it as far as you can so it lies flat
then pull like fcuk
took me a good while

put your hand on the base of the aerial and just give it a REALLY sharp tug and it should come out

paul, the aerial posted by rik is the correct one, the ebay seller has the same aerial at different prices, just got my aerial off the car now
' the little barsteward!' talk about giving it a tug!! the thread measures about 5mm in diameter as described in the auction.

its in vagparts called a leon aero wiper , theres a search icon on the first shop page

I have just got the Leon Areo Wiper from vagparts, its off the VW Touran and came as the whole kit: Cap, Wiper and Arm. I think its the same length as the Fabia one aswell!
