Fastest Mk2 Leon

Hi all,

I am wondering if anyone can tell me what the fastest / highest powered (modded) Leon is and what kind of stats they are putting out?

I am from South Africa and just ordered a Cupra (Trading in my TFSI FR). I am looking at getting some serious mods done (yesss... its africa but we are more civilized than you may think ) Any info on what is available and more importantly what is the "BEST AVAILABLE" in terms of remaps, intercoolers, turbo kits etc would be greatly appreciated!

fastest as in top speed? surely they would all be same but just get there quicker, i know how fast i have had out of my cupra and its LOTS !!!

Assume you have an upgrade path lined up. I assume...

suspension
quick shift lever
remap
wheels
tyres
intercooler change
high flow cat
exhaust back box
possibly recirc valve as well.

Over and above this will be the fuel rail pump and changes to the map as well to get the last 10% out of the turbo.

As for which ones are best in each I could not comment, but if i have missed out one part, it was not intentional

The limiter is changed as part of some remaps.

No, but they're too service intensive, every 4k, and IMHO they're butt ugly... but better than Scoobies tho'..

new ones dont need servicing every 4.5k anymore, think its 10 or 12 now and servicing costs have gone down also.

easy apr stage III gt2871r turbo with their intercooler and hpfp you are aiming over 420whp

then you put rods and pistons and you can aim at 450+whp then you meth and you are near the 500whp

you need brembo big brake kit suspension lsd and reinforce axle wider front tires stickier rubber and you get a fwd monster

you are talking in usa about 13000 to 14000$ with install i think

or you can go even custom atp gt3071rs with apr intercooler apr fuel pump rods pistons an all the above with revo tuning
