Hi,

I am looking to start doing some more mods to my Leon Cupra. I have already lowered it, put 18's on and smoothed and drilled airbox.

I am going to spend about £250 and already am getting fabia rear wiper and pipercross panel filter. What else should i be getting? The car has done 110k miles hence why I am not going crazy but just want to improve performance a bit. dont want to get a remap yet as will do this in summer so am looking for mods to prepare for this.

Thanks

cool i was thinking tip and dv. who should i get a tip from?

ive heard mixed reviews on hids. I really want to put Cupra R bumpers on it but so expensive and not worth it on my car cos of the mileage.

swap the N75 for an N75J (or H some would say). Cheap and noticeable - especially when you get the map done (assuming its petrol).

It controls the wastegate (or it might even be the wastegate - can't fully remember) and causes the boost pressure to be held higher for longer. The J and H versions are electrically different in that when the ECU sends a set voltage to it at any given boost pressure to open, it doesn't open as far as the std one and keeps more boost in the system. Its a popular mod on UKMKIV's forum and I used to run a J version on my 210hp Revo'd S3 and it was very noticable. The H version is slower than the J version and holds even more boost, but go too far and you risk limp mode. S3's were hit and miss on the H. People on here with LCR's don't seem to have issues with it.

I remember a discussion a long time back on here that I had with someone that you might be able to find with a search of my posts.

VAG part number is the same as the one stamped on the standard one but its the last digit which is a letter that denotes the version. 5 years ago it was about £40. When you fit it it looks like its been put on backwards and the plug connects on the opposite side to the standard one.

Most likely at work
just go to an Audi dealer and get the S3 strut braces from the parts section. the upper is around £60 and i think the lower is a bit cheaper.

im getting myself the upper S3 brace for my LCR

First thing i've done to my car was a remap :D. It took me only 2 weeks of owning the car to surrender to temptation ;p.
